Lived Experience Recovery

and Community Organisation

Recover

When we say Recover, we don’t just mean getting clean — we mean reclaiming your life from adversity. Recovery for us is not about labels, but about resilience, healing, connection, and growth. It’s the courage to look at the roots of pain, not just the symptoms, and the strength to rebuild a life that feels meaningful and real. At We Do, Recover is about stepping away from shame and stigma, learning tools to live with freedom and purpose, and reconnecting with yourself, your family, and your community. Put simply: Recover is about living again — not just surviving the storm, but learning how to dance in the rain.

About us

We Do was born from lived experience, resilience, and a shared belief that people can rebuild their lives with the right support. Founded by Charlie Morrison, Dan Boorsma, Claire Cooper and James Howard-Cofield, our work combines professional recovery coaching with the power of storytelling, wellbeing, and community. We’re not here to preach or to label — we’re here to walk alongside people as they rediscover their strength and purpose.

Our approach is simple: we create safe spaces where people can be themselves, share openly without judgement, and learn practical tools for growth. Whether it’s through coaching conversations, community sessions, or our four pillars — Recover, Coaching, Storytelling, Wellbeing — everything we do is about helping people live again with resilience and dignity.

We know recovery because we’ve lived it. We know community because we’ve built it. And we know change is possible because we see it every single day.
