Hello
We Do was founded by Dan and Charlie with a simple aim: to help people when life becomes challenging. Our work is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that support should be human, accessible, and free from judgement. We support people experiencing addiction, alcoholism, mental health challenges, stress, burnout, grief, and other behaviours that can impact wellbeing. Through coaching, wellbeing practices, and supportive spaces, we offer practical, inclusive pathways that meet people where they are and help them move forward with confidence and dignity.
Our Story
We met in recovery. Both of us came to this work through our own experiences of addiction and alcoholism, though our journeys looked different on the outside. Charlie lived openly in addiction and alcoholism for over 33 years — years marked by chaos, loss, and survival mode, where life often felt unmanageable. Dan’s experience was quieter but no less consuming — addiction and alcoholism hidden behind closed doors, drinking around the clock while maintaining the appearance that everything was fine. Through recovery, we learned that while addiction can look different, its impact is the same: isolation, disconnection, and pain. From those shared experiences, two lads had an idea — to create something honest, human, and supportive. That idea became We Do: a commitment to walk alongside others, offering real support built on understanding, connection, and the belief that change is possible.
